SLOW FASHION / SMALL RUN: HOW DOES IT WORK?
Melaleuca Grove is a small batch, ethically handmade clothing label. I collaborate with Australian artists to produce unique print to feature on our pieces. Prints are released once a month. Each garment is hand cut to order; as such there are no finished jumpsuits ready to ship.
Doesn't it suck putting effort into an outfit only to show up somewhere looking the same as someone else there? Melaleuca Grove specialise in unique, handmade garments. Due to the way items are cut, the print placement on your item will differ slightly from images displayed on the website or social media. This means you will have a unique, one of a kind piece!
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Each order takes an average of 3 weeks from when I receive it to when it's finished + ready to dispatch if the print is in stock. If it is a new print please allow 4-5 weeks.
I pre-purchase our fabric but do not cut garment pieces until order are placed. Ideally people purchase on release night to consolidate our process as much as possible but if you don't get online that night, don't fret as I incorporate additional orders throughout the process.
I then check, iron, fold + pack your order into eco friendly parcels + lovingly dispatch to their forever home with you! All parcels are tracked and you’ll receive an email letting you know your order is complete + the tracking number so you can watch its progress into your hot little hands.
Most importantly, every item is carefully + sustainably handmade for you by individuals paid a fair wage working reasonable hours.
HOW MUCH IS POSTAGE?
Most orders include a jumpsuit + sash, qualifying for free postage but any combination >$300 will get free postage. For items under this, I charge $10 flat rate postage anywhere in Australia.
All orders are sent in eco satchels, with tracking (i.e. satchels are reuseable + compostable).
All parcels are sent via Australia Post, according to whom a standard parcel can take up to a week to be delivered . If your parcel doesn't arrive within two weeks after being posted in Australia - please FIRST check your tracking number online. If you're still unable to find the information or it looks like something is wrong, please then contact me so I can help. You may need to allow more than the usual time during busy holiday periods such as Christmas. The current COVID19 situation does seem to be impacting post times, so please be patient if your parcel is a little late.
DO YOU POST OUTSIDE AUSTRALIA?
Absolutely! International postage is $15 flat rate to NZ and $20 flat rate worldwide.
International postage can take from 2 - 6 weeks depending on where you are located. Tracking is usually available on international parcels, but can depend on the reliability of your own country’s postal service.
Don't forget some countries charge customs or other fees on your order, and these are unrelated to and not included in the product or postage cost which I charge you. Any extra charges are outside of my control - please ensure you check + understand this before purchasing.
I do not accept returns (including return to sender) based on additional taxes or charges being applied in your country after I have shipped your product. This is part of the terms and conditions you accept upon checkout. Thanks so much for your understanding.
WHAT IS YOUR SIZE RANGE?
Our current size range A-K is a ladies size 4 - 28 in jumpsuits + dresses. Please note, our sizes are generous Australian sizing. If you need a size outside of this range, please let me know. We will try to accommodate your size (for no additional cost). Check the Sizing page for more details or to check your sizing.
DO YOU OFFER SLEEVES AS AN OPTION ON JUMPSUITS?
We all have that part of our bod we like to hide from prying eyes. While sleeves are not currently an option, this is something I'm are looking into + I'd love your feedback if it's something you'd like to see added in the future. The jumpsuits look terrific with a tee, blouse or skivvy worn underneath or with a cardi or jacket over the top.
